At Tahoe Cross Country Ski Area we are offering
65 kilometers of well-groomed trails, 2 trailside warming huts with beautiful
views of Lake Tahoe. Cross Country and snowshoe rentals for all ages and pull
behind sleds for small children. Professional ski instruction, 5 miles of dog
friendly trail, a Day Lodge, cafe and retail sales, wireless internet access
also available. So, join us for the winter, this year in Lake Tahoe!
Waxing Services available. Regular care of your ski bases will make your
skis faster in all snow conditions. Our shop offers hot waxing, structure and
minor base repair. We also can repair or replace pole baskets and handles, as
well as some bindings. See us in the rental shop and we will make sure your gear
is working properly. $129.00 for 10 Pack of Waxes - One Wax$18.00.
- HOW TO FIND US
- Located two miles east of downtown Tahoe City on Dollar Hill, off Hwy. 28. Turn onto
Fabian Way (across from 7-11 store) then right on village & left on Country Club Drive
- Trail system offers 65 kilometers of groomed ski trail: 25% beginner, 45% intermediate, 35% advanced
- Open 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, seven days a week
- Connection to the Fibreboard Freeway and the Great Race Ski Trail
- Facilities: Two trailside warming huts, day lodge, cafe, fireplace and a warm atmosphere.

Dogs (any age): $4.00 - Allowed Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm; Weekends and Holidays from 3:00-5:00pm
- Leave your dog on it's leash or in your car until you begin skiing
- Dogs allowed on 8 km of our trail system. Two trail systems: Special Green Trail and Blue Trail
- Remember, Your dog's behavior is your responsibility.
- Clean up your dog's messes, Leave aggressive dogs at home, Always carry a leash.

Our rental department offers
Our rental department offers the comfort of Salomon boots and the control of Fischer's mid-length diagonal stride skis. We also offer the latest in skate ski technology. The standard skate package will introduce you to the Fischer SCS Skate Ski with the Salomon Pilot Boot. The high-end Skate Demo Package features the RCS Skate and Salomon Equipe 10 skate skies. Standard ski rentals are interchangeable with our Tubbs Snowshoes.

Invest in a lesson and get started on the right track. Learn the basics of
safely guiding, turning and stopping in a supportive group atmosphere. Out
lesson packages include a 90-minute group lesson, ski rental and trail pass.

Trail Rules
- Obey all trail signs
- One Way Trails - Ski in direction of arrows.
- Two Way Trails - Keep to the right.
- State Park Regulations apply within Burton State Park boundaries.
- Grooming may not prevent bare spots, obstacles, or ice on trails. Grooming machines may
be on trails at any time. Ski with caution and under control. Conditions are always
changing. Natural and man-made obstacles exist - hazards may not be marked.
- Abide by the Placer County Skier's Responsibility Code, and all posted notices, warnings and signs.
