      • Due to artist illness, Sammy Hagar had to postpon the May 4, 5 and 6 concerts at Harrah's Lake Tahoe South Shore Room and rescheduled to Sunday, June 17th at Harvey's Outdoor Arena! This will be the first show of the Harveys Outdoor Summer Concert Series and it coincides with the "Opening Day Lake Tahoe" community-wide weekend activities. 2007 Concerts and Dances

Lake Tahoe residents and visitors can treat themselves to an incredible musical experience in a unique historical setting. The Valhalla Arts & Music Festival features weekly concerts at the Tallac Historic Site in South Lake Tahoe. The concerts take place in the Valhalla Boathouse Theatre, a restored 150-seat community theater originally built in the 1890's. Dances are held in the Valhalla Grand Hall. The concerts cover a range of music from classical music, folkloric music and dance, Swing, steel drums, jazz and Rhythm & Blues. All concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. Admission varies per concert with pricing for adults, seniors and children. Tickets may be purchased at the door, but advance reservations are strongly recommended. Parking is available in the Valhalla lot or on Highway 89 by the tan barn. Children's Programs

Kitchen Kids (Ages 6-12) - Wednesdays 1:00pm ($7.50 fee)
Cook up a storm in the Pope Estate kitchen and experience the way "it used to be" in the kitchen.

Boat Buddies (Ages 4-8) - Thursdays 1:00pm (June 21 through July 19, $5.00 fee)
Tour the Pope Boat house and view the remains of the 100' Steamer "Tod Goodwin". Power your miniature boat in the Pope House Fountain.

Garden Party (Ages 5-11) - Fridays 1:00pm ($7.50 fee)
Learn about the lifestyles of the 1920s while crafting a hat and enjoying lemonade and cookies.

All Ages

Pope House Tours - Daily 11:00am, 1:00pm & 2:30pm ($5.00 adults, children under 6 FREE)

Boats of Tahoe - Wednesdays 3:00pm (June 21 through July 19, FREE)
A look back at the maritime history of the South Shore, especially the steamers and race boats that were used the turn of the century through the 1920's.

Ecology Creek Walk - Sundays at 10:00am (Stream conditions permitting)
Naturalist's Choice Walk - Monday and Friday at 10:00am (different topics, call to check)
Patio Talk - Daily at 2:00pm
Rainbow Trail Walk with Naturalist - Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 2:00pm
Lake Walk - Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 2:00pm
Storytelling for Kids - Tuesday at 10:00am
Evening Ranger Program - Wednesday and Saturday at 8:30pm in the Amphitheater
Kids in the Creek - Thursday at 10:00am (child must be accompanied by an adult)
