stunning detail as viewers journey through what may be the most intriguing
frontier. In conjunction to the show, the planetarium presents a new

each year, success at the USBC Team USA Trials means realizing that dream.

additional men and women who will receive at-large selections from the

- TOCCATA, The Orchestra and Community Choral Artists of the Tahoe Area
and James Rawie Artistic Director and Conductor, announce the first annual
presentation of Basically Barocco, music of the 18th century with chorus,
soloists and orchestra. The 2007 concerts will take place on Saturday at 7pm
at St. Patrick's Episcopal Church in Incline Village and will be repeated on

- Bob Smith has the distinction of being the first openly gay comedian to
appear on The Tonight Show and have his own HBO Special, The Bob Smith
Comedy Half-Hour. Scott Kennedy is one of the founders of The Gay Comedy
Jam, which the Hollywood Reporter said "…is the most successful gay comedy

- Margaret Cho was born Dec. 5, 1968 and raised in San Francisco. "It was
different than any other place on Earth," she says. "I grew up and went to
grammar school on Haight Street during the '70s. There were old hippies,
ex-druggies, burnouts from the '60s, drag queens, and Chinese people. To say
it was a melting pot - that's the least of it. It was a really confusing,
enlightening, wonderful time."

- Back again this season, our most popular clinic series with
renowned instructor Nina MacLeod. Class size will be limited for the
three-part series and participants will have the option to sign up
for a separate day tour with Nina on March 3rd. As class size is
limited we encourage you to call or email us to get your spot in
advance. The three-part clinic is $225 or you can pay by the day at
$80. Lunch and a snack are included, as well as a trail pass and
more than 4 hours of daily instruction. Check in at the Ski School
desk after 9:00am, and be ready to go on snow at 10:00am. The day

- Winter Trails Introduction Day
- This nation wide promotion is designed to get adults to try the
fine sport of cross country skiing. At 1pm, with advance online
reservations, first timers will receive complimentary rental
equipment, an afternoon trail pass and a short introduction to cross
country skiing. Space is limited, and no "day-of" reservations will
be taken.

- Review, fine tune and go to the next level of what you learned
in the first session of "Core Skiing" with Owen Grady.
In this session you will expand your knowledge of core movement

- This popular event is made possible with the hard work of the
Bay Area Orienteering Club. Test your skill in skiing and navigation
at a beginning or advanced level course during this fun event. Join
us for one or both days with a different course each day. Skiers
find several checkpoints in a specified order on a course, and the
fastest time wins. Different starts for competitors discourage
following. Registration time is at 9:30am, with start times
following. The $56 entry fee includes your trail pass and rentals
for the day. $35 for entry fee and trail pass, or $10 for season
