    • Open Play at Tahoe Tots Spot
      • At least two whole hours of fun for you and your youngster... Open play is the perfect solution for children needing to burn off some energy. Kids can start out by bouncing down the 15’ long tumble track into the Ball Pit filled with 5000 balls! Then they can navigate through tunnels, climbing obstacles, and the giant crayon balance beam. When they’ve had enough gymnastics they can move over to the giant Play Room filled with soft foam blocks, bean bag chairs, toys, and the play hut tunnel system. As if that weren’t enough they can express themselves through art and music in the 3rd room known as the Arts and Crafts Room. Let your child color all over the chalk board painted wall or rearrange the alphabet on the fully magnetic wall. Every Monday and Friday there is a new art project that will be led by an instructor and displayed for all others to see!

    • Harrah’s and MTV Games’ Total Rock, Total Rewards Rock Band Competition
      • Hundreds of Rock Band fans in Northern California and Northern Nevada have spoken and Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc. has answered loud and clear. Starting on March 27th, Harrah’s Lake Tahoe will join the seventeen other Total Reward properties nationwide and in Canada in launching their own leg of the Harrah’s and MTV Games’ Total Rock, Total Rewards Rock Band Competition. These Rock Band gamers will now get their shot at rock immortality and the chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be the opening act for the legendary B-52’s at the House of Blues in Atlantic City on May 9th. Harrah’s Lake Tahoe will be hosting Rock Band Nights from 8-11pm on March 27 as well as April 3, 10, and 17. Bands can register online at  or onsite. The winner of the Harrah’s Lake Tahoe competition will have the opportunity to participate in the May 7th Atlantic City regional competition.

      • Presented by Soroptomist International of Tahoe Sierra at the Harrah's Lake Tahoe Convention Center.       • Telemark Lessons and Rentals at Northstar ResortNorthstar® Resort is offering one-day Telemark Camps to those looking to learn, improve or perfect their technique. These all-day camps have a relaxed, student-centric approach where the participants help dictate the direction. Each level will focus on being more efficient skiers making for easier, more fluid skiing though level appropriate drills. Students will be evaluated and placed in groups appropriate to their experience level. Groups will practice and learn drills, receive feedback, video analysis and a personal program for improvement. Camps will follow PSIA standards, and copies of PSIA manuals will be provided. Camp includes: One-day all access lift ticket, 4 hours of instruction, Video analysis, PSIA manual, Class ratio of less then 6 to 1, Use of demo equipment (if needed), Lunch voucher valid for up to $14. Three levels of clinics are offered, with group levels determined with a practice run to ensure participants are placed in the right class. Beginners: Clinic focus - proper stance, weight distribution, utilizing beginner slopes. Intermediates: Clinic focus - correcting bad habits, using the rear ski (inside ski). Advanced: Clinic focus - skiing any slope, any condition.
      • Starts: 10am, with a lunch break from 12-1pm, where videos shot during morning will be reviewed. Clinics will continue from 1-3pm, followed by afternoon video review. Participants should be at the Cross-Country Ski & Snowshoe Center by 9am for an introduction and any equipment needs. Instruction starts promptly at 10am. Cost: $139 ($119 with season pass).     • Moonlight Snowshoe Tour
      • Northstar® Resort offers guided Moonlight Snowshoe Tours each month during the winter season. Tours depart from the Nordic Center at 5pm and will last approximately 2-2.5 hours. and will cover approximately 6 km of terrain. Guests will enjoy a guided hike, live acoustic music, bonfire, s’mores and hot chocolate. Cross-County Center is located at Mid-Mountain. Please give yourself plenty of time to ride the Gondola, and check in. We recommend leaving the Village at Northstar™ 30-45 minutes before tour begins. Participants must be on Gondola by 4:45pm. There will be time available to be fitted for snowshoes if needed. Dogs on leashes are welcome. Sled rental available for children. Please note the time change - all tours will begin at 5pm.
