Opening Dates for 2011/2012 Season

Ski Resort Closing Dates: This season has caught many by surprise...expecting a early BIG winter equal to if not more intense that last ski season. So far it has been quiet weather but that is not likely to continue and there is a hint of more white stuff on the way before Christmas Holiday.

Stay tuned as more ski areas and ski resorts announce the big day to kick off their season. Temperatures have been cold enough to keep those snow makers pumping but we need more assistance from Old Man Winter so put on those Snow Dancing Shoes and let dream of a White Christmas!!

Keep your eyes peeled on Lake Tahoe Weather for reports on changing mountain conditions this time of year! In planning a visit to Lake Tahoe you may also want to check on road conditions before heading up the hill and carry chains to be prepared for inclement weather!
