You will find which trails are open or closed, lift operations, base depth, new snow accumulations, weather conditions, specials, events and more. Our Daily Ski Reports and Snow Reports with complete and up-to-date information can be accessed below or on left and bottom borders of each ski report page.

Know when the ski report was posted - look for the DATE at the top of each ski report.
The PDF for each ski reports presents the Official Report as presented by the resort or ski area.

Closing Dates for 2009/2010 Season

Ski Resort Closing Dates: It has been an amazing year with over 400 inches total snowfall being reported for the year so far. In the second week of March the weather has taken a sharp turn toward Springtime temperatures and that means some terrific spring skiing and snowboarding as well as a turn toward the ending of yet another great season. Stay tuned hear as we will keep you abreast of closing dates as they are announced.

Although those close of the season greatly depends on Mother Nature, typically the resorts start closing their lifts in the 2nd and 3rd weeks of April. There are usually 2 or 3 resorts that will stay open until the end of May to the middle of May depending on the conditions. These are typically the north shore resorts with operations at higher elevations and possibly even Heavenly Lake Tahoe's backside.

Keep your eyes peeled on Lake Tahoe Weather for reports on changing mountain conditions this time of year! In planning a visit to Lake Tahoe you may also want to check on road conditions before heading up the hill and carry chains to be prepared for inclement weather!!
